Tangire NP

The name Tarangire national park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses the park. The park is famous for its high density of elephants and baobab trees. In the dry season there are large herds of thousands of zebras and wildebeests.
Common resident animals include waterbuck, giraffe, dik-dik, impala, eland, baboon and many bird species like ostrich.
